Making Pink Lemonade

Liam received news yesterday that one of his colleagues had passed away in a traffic accident in the morning. He was shocked, as were most of his other compatriots who had heard. It was later in the day, when he found out even more details, that he was further upset. And when he shared his discovery with me, it kept popping into my head every so often for the rest of the day...

The colleague who had passed on had been on a motorbike when the accident had occurred. When Liam had known him, he had not been a bike rider. However, possibly in a bid to save money for his child, he had switched from driving a car to riding a bike... Yes, he had a child. A 2-week old baby....

When Liam told me the news, my heart wrenched and spasmed. The term "Oh no!" or "Oh dear!" doesn't even BEGIN to cover it...I cannot stop thinking about the little baby and his wife...CANNOT. I will not go into my detailed thoughts here but suffice it to say that I am grieving for that little baby and mother. I don't know them but I will surely go mad... Ahhh... I can't even talk about this, so I shall stop here...
